mixing, mixing, mixing

finishing mixing is at least finally getting close.    but not so close as any of us will do anything other than shrug when asked for a timeline.  burnout is ouch.  but the album is nigh.  as are new little tuny tunes — one is recently recorded and stripped down and getting close to mixing time and may well be ready sooner than the full on album…  we’ll put something out as soon as it gets in our grubby little hands.

but we have been recording new stuff and working on mixing some not quite as new stuffs…

hey! no more hibernating! new songs etc. happening

ok, so the album has been taking us like, forEVer, to finish. mixing will happen. mastering will happen. album-ness of the album will happen. there will be a few zingers on it that you will not have heard played live.

and, we got a few new songs we’ve started playing… and han recently wrote a song to be included in the crab malice project… and it’s entirely possible that recordings of new tunes will be available before old tunes.

and we’ve played a couple shows with dan lee (of scrabbel) on drums and nick mirov (of love is chemicals) on bass, which has been lotsa fun.

and tim bulkley’s been in town intermittently and i’ve finally managed to line up a show while he’s in town, which we’re excited about. so come on out! it’s the 26th of june. yay!
